1. Information you provide
Depending on how you use Another AI Lie, you may provide:
- Text that you paste for analysis.
- Images that you upload for analysis.
- Videos that you upload for analysis.
- An email address for delivery of a paid Full Evidence Report.
- Information supplied to Stripe when you make a payment.
Please avoid submitting information that you do not have permission to share.
2. Free quick checks
Text and image quick-check indicators are designed to use browser-based analysis and do not themselves send your pasted text or selected image to OpenAI for AI-assisted analysis.
Video checks require video-processing infrastructure. If you select a video, it may be uploaded to Mux so the service can process the clip and prepare evidence needed for the video-check journey.
If you choose to purchase a Full Evidence Report, relevant submitted material and processing references may be temporarily staged on the server so they can be carried through payment and report generation without requiring you to submit the material again.
3. Paid Full Evidence Reports
When you request a paid Full Evidence Report, relevant submitted material is processed to generate an evidence-led report.
Depending on the type of check, this may include sending submitted text, an uploaded image, a video transcript and/or representative sampled video frames to OpenAI for AI-assisted analysis.
For text-bearing reports, including video reports where transcript text is available, the service may also use public-web searching to locate supporting or conflicting evidence, source material and potentially similar publicly accessible wording.
Public-source similarity checking is not a comprehensive plagiarism scan and does not cover every website, private repository, closed academic database, subscription-only source or unpublished work.
4. Email delivery
If you purchase a Full Evidence Report, the email address you enter is used to send a notification that your report is ready and provide access back to the completed report.
Creating or using an Another AI Lie account is not required, and entering your email address does not create an account.
Report email is sent using the email infrastructure associated with the Another AI Lie hosting service.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe.
Another AI Lie does not need to receive or store your full payment card details. Stripe processes payment information according to Stripe's own privacy and security practices.
6. Analytics, advertising, cookies and consent
Another AI Lie uses Google Analytics to understand how the service is used and where users move through the checking and paid-report journey.
Analytics events are intended to describe product activity, such as whether a quick check was completed or a paid report was generated. Submitted text, uploaded images and report contents are not intentionally sent to Google Analytics as analytics-event content.
Another AI Lie may also use Google AdSense to display advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Visitors can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings. If other third-party vendors or advertising networks serve ads, their cookies may also be used; visitors can review the relevant vendor information and available choices through the consent interface where it is shown.
Where required, Google's consent-management tools are used to obtain or manage choices relating to advertising and measurement.
7. Retention and automatic deletion
Another AI Lie is designed to avoid keeping submitted material for longer than is needed to provide the service.
Material temporarily staged for an unpaid or incomplete paid-report journey is automatically eligible for deletion after approximately 24 hours. Cleanup is performed by the service as subsequent report activity occurs.
Completed paid Full Evidence Reports, including the report data and the email address used for delivery, are retained on the server for up to 14 days. This allows a customer to revisit the report using the same verified payment session and allows limited recovery from delivery problems.
Reports older than 14 days are automatically eligible for deletion during service cleanup. Temporary orphaned email-delivery lock files are also removed after a short grace period.
A report link retained after the underlying report has been deleted will no longer provide access to that report.
8. Service providers
The service currently relies on a limited number of external providers where necessary to operate:
- OpenAI — AI-assisted analysis and public-web evidence search.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google — analytics, consent management and advertising.
- Mux — processing of submitted video for video checks.
- The site's hosting/email provider — website hosting and report email delivery.
9. Video checks
If you submit a video for checking, the video is uploaded to Mux for video processing. The current service accepts supported clips up to the limits shown in the checking interface.
Mux processing may be used to prepare a transcript where available and to make representative frames from selected timestamps available for analysis. The number and timing of sampled frames may vary with the duration and characteristics of the submitted clip.
For a paid Full Evidence Report, relevant transcript text and representative sampled frames may be sent to OpenAI as evidence for AI-assisted analysis. The report may also use public-web evidence where transcript text is available.
Video analysis is based on sampled evidence and should not be treated as frame-by-frame forensic examination of the entire video.
Another AI Lie requests deletion of the temporary Mux video asset after successful paid-report generation. If a report journey is abandoned or processing cannot complete normally, deletion may occur later through service cleanup or according to the relevant provider's processing and retention controls.
10. Regional pricing
Another AI Lie may use approximate country-level location information derived from your internet connection to select an appropriate regional currency and price.
This is used for pricing-region selection and is not intended to determine your precise physical location.
11. No accounts or user profiles
Another AI Lie does not currently require user accounts, logins, dashboards, subscriptions or personal report libraries.
Each check is intended to stand on its own.
12. Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect submitted material, payment-session references and stored reports.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users should therefore avoid submitting unnecessary confidential or highly sensitive information.
13. Your choices
You can use the free service without creating an account.
Where Google's consent interface is shown, you can use it to manage relevant advertising and measurement choices.
